Self-care, growth, and simplicity at HHP

For Bruno Nuyttens and therefore for HHP, Home Health Products, everything revolves around one clear vision: Make self-care available for everyone. With their health products, they help people take control of their well-being.

Thanks to Odoo and the support of Sofatech, HHP succeeds in efficiently scaling up their approach while maintaining personal contact and quality.

Self-care as a mission

“We believe that people should be able to take control of their own health,” begins passionate owner Bruno Nuyttens. “That’s why we offer products that help customers relieve their symptoms and, most importantly, prevent them.”

Driven by this mission, HHP wants to make their services accessible to everyone, which requires a customer-focused, scalable approach. IT is an important lever in this. “Odoo is not an end in itself for us. It’s a powerful tool to help realize our vision.”

More communication, less hassle

“The greatest value of Odoo lies in communication. In B2C, it has become harder to reach people: they read fewer emails and are less likely to answer the phone. With Odoo, we combine multiple channels: email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp…

All from a single platform, to communicate clearly, accurately, and effectively with our target audience.”

That centralization provides calm and clarity. “You immediately see what communication has already taken place. You don’t have to switch between tools or piece together data.

Everything is in one place. That’s a huge efficiency gain for us.”

One system, many applications

HHP uses a wide range of Odoo apps: from sales and accounting to helpdesk, inventory management, digital marketing, and marketing automation.

“The system is intuitive, quick to learn, and versatile.

People without IT experience can easily get started with it—something that is nearly impossible with other tools.”

That’s an important difference compared to other systems. “With other platforms, you had to train people intensively for months. With Odoo, someone can work smoothly after just two days. You don’t need to be a pure IT expert anymore; you just need to be good at the job you were trained for. The rest is supported by Odoo.”

Flexibility as a superpower

In a rapidly changing B2C market, flexibility is essential. “New prices, different communication channels, adjusted sales strategies—everything is constantly changing. With Odoo, we can quickly adapt and test new flows. With other systems, you have to create blueprints and set up integrations… by the time that’s done, the market has already changed,” Bruno laughs.

HHP also developed innovations themselves, such as linking mobile numbers to outbound calls via Odoo. “We build on Odoo’s foundation and add what’s needed.”

Always with the idea: how do we keep everything within one system, within Odoo? And if Odoo introduces that feature in a future update, we switch to it right away.”

In-house expertise, collaboration with Sofatech

Bruno emphasizes that it’s important to build and have internal knowledge. “You need people who understand the system, can translate processes, and think along.

Without those people internally, it becomes difficult. We have built that knowledge internally—and we have Sofatech for what we still lack.” The collaboration with Sofatech is essential for HHP. “They think along, are honest, and prioritize customer satisfaction. You feel it in everything: from the company’s top management to the people guiding us.

Peter, whom I work closely with, does much more than is expected of him. Someone like that is worth their weight in gold.

That passion is valuable for any company.”
